I am a senior Software Engineer training hard to be a Data Scientist Jedi. With more than 10 years of solid hands-on experience, I have been working in several projects using a wide variety of technologies, always seeking to learn new ways to make the life easier. I love to work with all kind of data, solve problems and find patterns hidden in the data (The dark side of the data). I consider myself with strong problem-solving abilities, good communication skill and also a quick learner. Also I like working in a team, you'll learn faster and much more.
2005 - 2007
Master - Applied Computer Science
During my master, I learned Java, a lot of SQL and how to improve Database performance, PHP, PL/SQL, MVC, UML and more. During this time, I specialized in Data Quality, being my master’s thesis related to this subject. Here I learned a lot of data quality techniques, the importance of design software taking in count data quality, and data mining techniques.
1999 - 2004
Bachelor - Computer Science
The education was mainly C/C++ based programming, but I also learned about Visual Basic, SQL, Databases, Data Structures, Software Engineering, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and more related subjects. During this time, I specialized in e-learning, developing an ASP web application for online courses. Here I applied knowledge about web programming, databases, user experience and design.

Fulltime - Senior Java Developer
Serving as a contractor in Deloitte, currently as a Deputy Manager for the Front Office Production Support team as part of the Georgia Integrated Eligibility System (GA IES). GA IES is a new system in response to the Federal Affordable Care Act - incorporating multiple Public Assistance/Health Programs across multiple Georgia Health and Human Services Agencies for eligibility and enrollment systems.

Part-time - Professor
During the period being a Part Time Teacher in this University, I facilitated the collocation of students in companies related to IT. Also, I prepared, taught and supervised several groups of 25 students each with the subjects: Databases, Object Oriented Programming 1 & 2, Distributed Systems, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence.
